In general, if I’m looking to do some cheeky invade and snowball I’ll take Q, if I’m playing for ganks I’ll take R and if I’m playing it safe or playing utility for the team I’ll take W. I agree thats a shift in playstyle and the feel of a champ, but reliability is what wins the game and assassin kha counts on enemy unreliability to be reliable. (Which is fair, cuz ppl in soloq are unreliable, but in the long run, reliability is the play regardless of elo, and bruiser Kha is miles ahead in that regard).

In mid game, R would be on like 40s cooldown on bruiser while on assasin would be at around 60. U just have so much more options to go in with bruiser build.
